After the dinner we opened presents and then left for the Anniversary Inn where we stayed in the Jackson Hole suite.

Cutting the Cake

It was time to cut the cake. Will and I didn't trust each other that we wouldn't smash the cake in each others faces. I wonder why!!! So I made him go first.

Man and Wife

One of our first pictures as a married couple. This one is my favorite!!!

The Flower Girl and "Ring Boy"

Brooklyn was our flower girl and Cody was the "Ring Boy" (that's what he kept calling it). They were both so cute! Brooklyn got scared and didn't want to walk down the aisle alone, so Mandy walked with her and Mindy walked with Brooklyn. She didn't have a problem when it was time to walk back up the aisle after the ceremony.

The Ceremony

We had a Judge Paul Thompsen perform the ceremony. It wasn't too long, which was nice. In his advice he said the only time we should yell at each other was if the house was burning down. That made us laugh. When the fire actually happened, Will didn't believe me because I was so calm. (I was just in shock).

The Pianist

Laurie Chandler played the piano for the wedding. She was my next door neighbor growing up, and also my piano teacher. There was no question as to who we wanted to play the piano. Laurie was a shoe in!

The Photographer

Dennis Brakke was the photographer for the wedding. My mom and I use to work with him and remembered that he was a really good photographer. He did an amazing job. It was so good to see him and his wife Gayle again (she worked with us also). Unfortunately he was always behind the camera, so we didn't get any pictures of him.

Decorations for the Dinner

On the white tablecloths, we had yellow runners and vases filled with daisies. Each place setting had the silverware wrapped in a yellow napkin, tied with raffia and a daisy. Mandy made the favors for each person. They turned out so cute! Plus she even made all of the daisy mints!!!

The Chapel Decorations

I love daisies, so we decorated with daisies. We started with just white daisies, but when we were flower shopping for my bouquet we added pink, yellow and green daisies. We had balls of daisies hanging from the pews in the chapel, wreaths hanging on the doors and the arch was decorated with daisy garland.

The Book Table

Here is our book table. We decorated a lot with daisies. I even changed the inside of the guest book so it was daisy paper. I was pretty happy with how that turned out.

My Bride Figurine

Brooklyn gave me this little bride figurine at my shower. She was so excited when she found it at the store. Mindy said she just carried it around and said she had to buy it for me. My mom suggested that I put it next to the wedding cake, so it was at the wedding. Brooklyn was pretty excited that we put it out that day. When we moved the cake downstairs, Brooklyn ran upstairs and grabbed the figurine to put next to the cake, because "that's where it belonged". It was pretty cute.

The Cake

Mindy made our wedding cake and she did an AMAZING job! You would have never guessed that this was her first wedding cake. She is so good at this kind of stuff. She just has a knack for it (which I have to say I am jealous of).

Pine Valley Chapel

Our wedding was held at the Pine Valley Chapel at This is the Place state park. It was pretty funny how my mom and I both found it on our own and liked it! It's a replica of the chapel that is down in St. George, UT. When we walked in it reminded me of the church on Little House on the Prairie.

Engagement Pictures

We decided to have our pictures taken in the mountains. Mindy was going to take them, but if we were to go down to Salt Lake and have them done it would be really late at night when we got home, so Will's parents took them for us. We went up by Mill Hollow which isn't too far from our house and afterwards we roasted hot dogs, had corn on the cob and had roasted smores. It was a pretty fun night, even though Will forgot the hot dog buns!!! We will never let him live that down.
